DON'T LIVE YOUR LIFE ON THE INTERNET (or attached to the screens)
The internet usage has boomed in the recent years and almost everyone on the internet. I don't need to quote surveys or studies, just look around you and you will find the people glued to the screens. I think majority of people's answer to their phone usage is they're doing something productive on it or they use it only for being productive, but let's be realistic we are not using it for anything other than entertainment. Even those who have a delusion that they are being productive or they are doing the work on the mobile spend most of their time watching shorts or tik-tok.
Prolonged usage of the internet makes you:
- anxious and depressive
- gives you bad posture
- it fries your last two brain cells left
- reduces your sleep quality and mess with your eyesight.
- destroys your attention span and mess with your brain
It is not a conspiracy theory that the tech companies hire psychologist/neurologist to design their "platforms" so that they can have you spend most of your time on their website. They are making their apps more addictive with every update. The companies want to milk your brain as much as they can and they don't give a shit about your mental health or your overall being. Only thing they want is to mint money at the expense of your health, privacy and personal data. I am not giving any conclusion to this post because I want the readers to think it for themselves and what should they do with this problem.
